MANUSCRIPT REVIEW

This includes a critical reading of your manuscript
beyond grammar and spelling.  Your work will receive
an assessment of all aspects of your writing to include
character development, conflict, dialogue, or narrative.  
I’ll be frank and tell you if there are problems.  I’ll offer
recommendations for improvements.  You’ll receive
your manuscript pages back in hard copy with marks,
as well as a detailed and personalized report.

EDITING

Editing services include editing for content, copyediting
and proofreading.  Content editing is an intensive
process which includes looking for improvements in
imagery, setting, foreshadowing, point of view,
characterization, dialogue, context, plot and readability
to match your audience.  In nonfiction documents,
things such as:  format and layout, tone, clarity,
structure and organization are analyzed.  Copyediting
seeks to find problems with organization,

coherence, redundancy, word usage, syntax, and sentence and paragraph structure.  Proofreading
seeks typographical errors, spelling and grammar checks and punctuation.  These are edits that may
not be caught by a word processor.
